Dog training FAQs

We focus on private training: private sessions, board and train, day training and a puppy program. Group classes may not suit every dog, so we customize training to yours.

Our trainers work with most breeds, ages and behavioral issues, including aggression.

Balanced training. We reward and reinforce good behavior, work on impulse control, and give dogs clear communication, so they learn to make good decisions and owners learn how to keep that going at home.

It depends on your goals. Board and train covers obedience and real-world manners, puppy training sets the foundation early, behavior modification addresses aggression and reactivity, and day training fits around your workday. Your trainer will recommend one on your consultation.

It varies with your goals. Some dogs learn faster than others, and obedience comes much more quickly than reducing aggression. Our goal is to help you reach the goals you set for your dog.

Progress depends on commitment from both the trainer and the owner: how closely you follow your trainer's instructions, how much you practice, your goals, and your dog's temperament and health.

What we can guarantee is that your trainer will be there for you and your dog, and will work directly with your family to set your dog up for success.
